Guidelines for Staying Warm in Cold Weather
Children love outdoor winter activities, whether it's sledding, building snow forts or making snow angels. Knowing how to dress your kids for cold weather is extremely important. The goal is to keep them warm and comfortable when they are playing outdoors or heading to school in the cold. When it comes to winter dressing, the right approach and apparel makes all the difference. When we designed our Red Zeroes™ collection, we listened to both experts and parents. It's all about keeping kids warm, dry, and comfortable.
Red Zeroes™ offers a full line of clothing such as jackets, pants, overalls, gloves and hats. Red Zeroes™ clothing is designed to provide optimal protection and keep all body parts at their most comfortable conditions.
The biggest enemy of staying warm in cold weather is moisture. Wet body cools much faster than the dry one. Red Zeroes™ uses advanced materials that take the moisture (sweat) from the body and push it out, but at the same time keep the moisture from rain and snow on the outside. The body stays dry and does not loose warmth.
Dress in Layers
Dress kids in layers to hold in body heat. Red Zeroes™ provides the ideal outer layer.
Seal All Openings
Seal all openings such as seams, cuffs, collars, etc. to trap warm air inside of the garment and preserve optimal microclimate around the sensitive body. When kids play and move around Red Zeroes™ clothing never exposes any part of the body to the cold air. All parts of Red Zeroes™ clothing, like cuffs or collars, which are in direct contact with the skin, are made of soft materials to provide the maximum comfort and protection.
